Borde Hill Garden Hosts Focus 10K Charity Run
Earlier this summer, Mid Sussex-based charity for children and young people with complex disabilities, Chailey Heritage Foundation, staged its first 10K run at Borde Hill Garden.
The event, sponsored by Focus Group, was part of fundraising efforts to help raise £3.1m to build the foundation’s D.R.E.A.M (dynamic, real, experiential, amazing, magical) Centre.
Once completed, the centre will be a modern, purpose-built space for children and young people with complex disabilities to participate in a mixture of arts and physical activities.
Sally-Anne Murray, development director from Chailey Heritage Foundation, said: “We’re thrilled so many people joined us for the Focus 10K, and we’re especially pleased to see so many children and families here. We are already looking forward to next year’s event.”
