Can You Help The NHS To Carry On
Deliver Services?
This month marks 71 years since the creation of the NHS and for more than seven decades the service has provided health and social care to those who need it most, but can you help it in the future?
Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust welcomes volunteers from across the county to help it support services provided by the NHS to patients, their families, and their friends when they are in need.
The volunteering roles with the NHS are wide-ranging, from café assistance, to receptionist, to ward helpers and volunteers assisting and supporting those with dementia or in need of breast-feeding help.
As well as volunteering, Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust offers work experience placements, and actively looks to encourage younger people to get involved with volunteering within the NHS.
