Charity Coffee & Chat Sessions Supporting Horley’s Mental Health

Do you, or someone you know suffer from a mental health problem or struggle with day-to-day life? If so, The Lucy Rayner Foundation, is inviting Horley residents to its Just Talk sessions.

The sessions which take place on the first Sunday of each month at The Old Fire Station in Horley give visitors the opportunity to have a coffee and a friendly chat in a relaxed and informal environment.

Sessions are led by The Lucy Rayner Foundation’s welcoming team who will be there to facilitate conversations with those facing challenging circumstances, and in doing so, offering them guidance.

The Lucy Rayner Foundation was established by Jenny Rayner and her family, after her daughter Lucy took her own life aged 22 in May 2012, the loss left the family facing the impact of mental illness.

This inspired Jenny to campaign about the mental health challenges faced by young adults, she soon found that the support available to young adults with mental health challenges was underfunded.
