Last Chance For John Lewis Shoppers To Help Sullivan’s Heroes
This month is the last chance for shoppers at John Lewis’ Tunbridge Wells branch to do their bit for Turners Hill charity, Sullivan’s Heroes. The charity is one of the three nominated good causes, part of John Lewis’ Community Matters running until October 31.
Every three months John Lewis branches select three local community groups to help, customers decide how much each nominated group receives, by using a token to vote for the organisation they would like to support – each shop has £3,000 to donate which is split between the good causes proportionately.
Sullivan’s Heroes offers fundraising support for home adaptations for families with children who have disabilities. The charity raises funds to provide a fundraising platform and financial grants to help families to create the optimal environment to continue to care for their child at home.
A spokesperson for Sullivan’s Heroes, says: “The more tokens Sullivan’s Heroes collects, the bigger the donation the charity will receive. So please do pop down to John Lewis in Tunbridge Wells if you can, to show your support for Sullivan’s Heroes – and help fund home adaptations for disabled children.”
