Mid Sussex Applauds Community Heroes With Awards

Do you know someone who helps sports clubs, is a green champion, puts on or supports community activities, volunteers or is vital in your community? This month, they might just get the recognition that they deserve in new community awards, Mid Sussex Applauds.

The awards aim to highlight the fantastic work of individuals and organisations across the district and celebrating the Mid Sussex community with categories including Stronger Communities Award, Young Achiever Award, and Take Pride in Mid Sussex Award.

Mid Sussex District Council chairman, Cllr Colin Trumble, said: “We know that in this area we have fantastically supportive people who, whether individually or as part of an organisation, go above and beyond what is expected, for the benefit of their community.”
