Reigate Community Pulls For The Lucy Rayner Foundation

Fundraising strong men and women from Reigate and beyond took part in a sinew straining event for a good cause at the famous Top Gear Test track at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey for a family day out to remember.

The event, held to raise money for The Lucy Rayner Foundation featured the famous voice of strongman – presenter and sports MC, Martin Cee, well known for his passionate and enthusiastic commentary.

Emma Rayner from the Reigate-based charity said: “We are overwhelmed by the support we had on the day, the athletes did amazing. All in all, the day went brilliantly, and we cannot
wait to do 2019 Big pull.”

The Lucy Rayner Foundation which offers support services for people with mental health challenges is actively involved in a number of projects to help raise awareness raised £6,548.00 from the event.

The Reigate-based charity is always busy organising or taking part in events such as family fun days, golf tournaments and gala balls to help raise money for the important work that it does.
