Tackle The Mince Pie Ten For Sussex Cancer Charity
With weeks of overindulgence ahead, why not head to the coast, dig your trainers out and get running? This year’s Seaford Striders’ annual Mince Pie Ten Mile Race has chosen The Sussex Cancer Fund as one of the event’s nominated charity.
This year’s 10-mile challenge takes place on Sunday, December 8 and open to all runners, whether for fun or for the more competitive, however due to its popularity, place fill fast, so keen runners should contact organisers.
The race is the Seaford Striders’ main fundraiser and has been voted one of the UK’s top ten races by Runner’s World Magazine, supports a range of worthy charities with The Sussex Cancer Fund one of the chosen good causes in need of money.
The Mince Pie Ten starts and finishes at Peacehaven Leisure Centre before routing to Telscombe and Saltdean and attracts individuals and teams keen to undertake the ten-mile challenge in festive fancy dress as well as competitive runners.
