The Blunter Brothers in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice

Good  friends of RH Uncovered  Magazine, Heather and Kelly Doughton, are embarking on an hill tribe trek in the Pù Luông area of Vietnam in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice.

The trek will take place between 9th & 17th April and will be around 20km per day.  To help raise funds for the hospice and sponsorship targets, they have arranged many events but the main event they are hoping to raise the most funds from is as follows:

Dave Baxter, manager of the Blunter Brothers, said: “The band is really looking forward to playing at this great event. We are proud to be supporting St Catherine’s Hospice”

Heather Doughton said, “We cannot wait to take on the trek, but the main challenge for us is to smash the sponsorship target and raise as much as we can for such a worthwhile cause.”

Heather & Kelly need to raise a minimum of £6,000.00 and their sponsorship will enable St Catherine’s Community Nurses to visit patients in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.  Every day trekked will pay for five hours of care for a patient in their own home.  For more information about the trek or St Catherine’s Hospice, visit www.stch.org.uk
